who is Sharpe services?

We believe in the value of generational trade skills and the value of blue collar work. Started in 1997, by my former father-in-law, our original company was founded after returning from combat. Looking for a way to provide for his wife and 2 sons, he relied on his hands on experience of working with engines. Finding a correlation between engine mechanics and HVAC, a vision was born to find a path of independence through business ownership. 

After training under a local, small business owner; he branched off and opened up his own company. Being a Houston native, he took a natural interest in the development and skill of air conditioning equipment.

 

I noticed his passion for AC and I took an interest in the physics of the refrigeration cycle. Shortly after, a 2nd generation of the business took hold. With a driving force to learn the science behind the machine, every opportunity to absorb knowledge of the industry was taken. It took years of being buried in textbooks, intensely involved on job sites and a college certificate, but it was all worth it when the state license exam was passed in 2015.

Typically our Spring Maintenance is performed in March or April and Fall Maintenance is performed in October or November (weather depending).   • How do I know if my AC system is properly sized?

This calculation takes into account the size of your home, the layout, insulation, windows, and a variety of other factors to determine the appropriate size for your AC system.     Great question! You may have a clogged drain line in the primary drain coming from your evaporator coil. This is a common occurrence, your system will most likely need a service call.
